What’s a Widget? April 1:15: 10-11AM
QuestionPoint has just introduced a widget interface called the Qwidget. This Qwidget provides a new way for patrons to ask questions in QuestionPoint. So what is all the fuss about and “what is a widget anyway”. To find out please attend this session. I’ll also be talking about some of the benefits of the Qwidget, so you can determine if it is right for your library.
Creating a Qwidget: April 3:17: 2-3PM QuestionPoint has just introduced a widget interface called the Qwidget. This Qwidget provides a new way for patrons to ask questions in QuestionPoint. In this session I’ll be talking about the benefits of the Qwidget and all participants will be creating one. By the end of the session you will have a fully built Qwidget that is ready to be added to you library’s webpage.

I currently offer two types of AskAway training sessions:

**Basic Training** :
This three hour training session offered virtually will instruct the participating librarians how to conduct e-mail, chat and the Administration portion of the virtual reference program using OCLC's QuestionPoint 24/7. At the conclusion of this session, participants will receive their authorization/password and have the skills ready to start the service in their own library.

**Policy/Profile page completion training**:
This one hour training session offered virtually will give libraries already participating in AskAway an opportunity to complete their policy and profile page
